The Pitchfork can be found in the first haystack in the Home Castle. It's one of the easiest, and earliest weapons in Castle Crashers to get.
The required Level to wield this weapon is Level 1.

Before the title patch, the Character Alien Hominid couldn't put down the pitchfork once it was picked up.
