The 2x4 (two by four) is purchasable from the Church Store on Insane Mode for 415 gold, where it replaces the Practice Foil, on the Xbox One version. On the PC version, you will need to instead buy the Blacksmith Pack. The 2x4 has received a buff to it only having -1 Magic as opposed to -3. Though, this could be considered a nerf.
- The 2x4 has moved to Group 6.
- In the original versions of Castle Crashers, the 2x4 was in Group 11.
The 2x4 (two by four) is in game byway of the Legend of the Blacksmith Pack for the PS3 version and the Blacksmith Pack for the XBLA version; were it not for the fact that the weapon isn't obtainable in the XBLA version and the 2x4 had to get patched in to the game in the PS3 version. The only way to keep the 2x4 forever in the XBLA version of the game, one must utilize the weapon trading trick from the people who initially received the weapon through hackers and modders in the Home Castle or Industrial Castle levels. Rendering this weapon recoverable at best and ultimately viral at worst.
Players must have a Level of 10 or more to wield it.
- The 2x4 holds the spotlight for having the largest possible Magic reduction out of any weapon in the entire game.
